STEM Instructional Aide
Work under general supervision to assist students in the STEM classroom. Qualifications include a high school diploma or GED certificate and a valid Texas educational aide certificate. Responsibilities include instructional support, student management, and participation in staff development training programs. The position does not include supervisory responsibilities. Tools used include standard office equipment and instructional equipment. The job requires moderate standing, occasional kneeling, squatting, bending, and stooping, and regular light lifting and carrying.
The work environment includes exposure to sun, heat, cold, inclement weather, and noise. The job demands work with frequent interruptions and maintaining emotional control under stress.
