LSC-Houston North Fallbrook is a newer campus delivering higher education opportunities to a traditionally underserved area of Houston. The 55,000 square-foot facility offers 14 classrooms, two computer labs and two science labs for students to take core courses to earn Associate of Arts and Associate of Science degrees.

PURPOSE AND SCOPE: The PT Specialist I, Care Center performs standard support duties assisting the department as they provide wraparound services for students. The PT Specialist I will help the department in a variety of functions such as keeping the food pantry organized and helping those that receive the service sign-in for tracking purposes.

• Under direct supervision, ensure the food pantry is organized for easy access
• Actively assist the dean in all tracking processes
• Provide updates to deans as needed
• Assist with tracking non-academic services as needed
• Collect needed information from participants via designated tracking system
• Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned

• Ability and willingness to treat all employees, parents, and children with respect and dignity

• Knowledge and experience working with youth
• Knowledge and ability to use PC and common office software

Position may involve some walking, standing, bending, and carrying of light items such as papers, books, or canned goods. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.

• Equipment includes a PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
• Interface with internal and external contacts as needed
• Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
• Work hours may vary
• Morning and afternoon shifts available

• High school diploma or equivalent

Hourly Pay Rate is $12.14
