Position Summary:
The School Psychologist (LSSP) will provide comprehensive psychological services, including conducting evaluations, developing recommendations, participating in ARD/IEP meetings, and offering direct and indirect support to students. The ideal candidate will demonstrate strong analytical skills, a deep understanding of Texas special education regulations, and the ability to work effectively with educators, families, and administrators. Requirements Successful completion of the National School Psychology Exam (PRAXIS).
Master's degree or higher in School Psychology from an accredited institution. Completion of a 1,200-hour supervised internship, including at least 600 hours in a school setting. Must hold a valid Licensed Specialist in School Psychology (LSSP) credential issued by the Texas State Board of Examiners of Psychologists (TSBEP).
