Position SummaryHouston Christian University seeks adjunct faculty in Accounting to support our growing undergraduate and graduate business programs. Candidates must be able to teach residential classes at our Houston campus, with daytime and evening options. Residential adjunct faculty also may teach online and hybrid format classes.
Job ResponsibilitiesHCU’s primary mission is teaching. Courses are delivered in face‑to‑face, online, and hybrid formats across the College’s Big‑4 business degrees. The successful candidate will:
- Provide excellent teaching to undergraduate or graduate students in a variety of delivery formats
- Actively integrate the Christian faith in teaching
Candidates must hold an earned PhD or DBA from an AACSB‑ or ACBSP‑accredited university in the teaching discipline. The College may occasionally consider master’s‑qualified candidates with at least 18 graduate semester hours in the desired field of teaching. Candidates without prior university‑level teaching experience must demonstrate exceptional professional and academic qualifications. Professional experience in the teaching discipline is an advantage.
