DUTY DAYS: 185
PAY GRADE: C02

Primary PurposeAssist teachers in the instructional program.
Qualifications- High school diploma or GED
- Valid Texas Educational Aide Certificate
- PAC Test (No Child Left Behind) / 48 College Hours
- Bilingual Test
Must be able to work effectively and efficiently with many people.
Major Responsibilities and Duties- Provide guidance and direction to students for drill and practice sessions and reviews in a small group setting.
- Assist with the preparation of instructional materials.
- Perform other duties as assigned by the principal.
Ability to communicate effectively (verbal); maintain emotional control under stress; interpret policy, procedures, and data; coordinate district functions.
Physical Demands / Environmental FactorsFrequent prolonged and irregular hours; repetitive hand motions; prolonged use of computer; steady phone interactions; moderate standing, walking, and bending.
