Gator Success Institute Salary
: $14.00 per hour

• Provides mentoring to students individually or in groups through presentations, workshops, outreach activities, and/or other programming focused on learning strategies and student support and services within the UHD Seminar.
• Works closely with office staff and maintains confidentiality.
• Performs administrative duties and supports Gator Success Institute events.
• Co-facilitates student groups and/or workshops.
• Leads and/or assists staff with student events, projects, and/or the use or development of new student success and student engagement materials.
• Maintains up-to-date information on student services and resources.
• Responds to student questions in a professional and timely manner.
• Provides support to students in learning how to make good choices.
• Assists with retention efforts of FTIC students and creates student caseload reports.
• Assists students with registering for courses.
• All other duties as assigned.

• Ability to multitask and interact professionally with staff, faculty, and students.
• Familiarity with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, etc.).
• Well‑organized, responsible, punctual, and self‑motivated.
• Strong interpersonal skills with a professional attitude and appearance.
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Commitment to providing excellent customer service.

• Must be a current UHD student with a minimum GPA of 2.5.
• Must be in good academic and disciplinary standing with the University.
