Position: Head Coach, Alpha - $150,000/year USD

The kindest thing you can tell a student who achieved 99% is that they haven’t met the standard. If that makes you uncomfortable, this role isn’t for you. If it resonates, read on.

Alpha students complete their academic learning in two hours daily via self‑directed, AI‑driven applications. No instructors. No traditional lectures. No content‑based classroom management. This structure allows you to focus on what genuinely alters student outcomes: facilitating high‑impact workshops on public speaking, concentration, and feedback literacy; using live analytics to motivate students toward complete goal attainment; and developing the Guides who support your work.

A typical morning may begin with a one‑on‑one Guide coaching conversation, analyzing performance metrics and pinpointing areas where a cohort is underperforming. By midday you will facilitate a student workshop, executing a structured activity on feedback exchange. Afternoons transition to motivational interventions: engaging individual students, identifying their intrinsic drivers, and leveraging Alpha’s incentive framework to reengage a reluctant middle schooler. You maintain direct responsibility for your own cohort, ensuring you remain proficient in the competencies you develop in others.

Alpha may be the environment where you finally belong. You’ll begin coaching Guides immediately, and as you demonstrate scalable impact, your authority over campus‑wide program standards expands.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating structured one‑hour workshops on life competencies (public speaking, concentration, feedback exchange) for elementary and middle school cohorts (K‑8), executing Alpha’s established playbook rather than creating original content.
  • Conducting motivational interventions leveraging student performance data and Alpha’s incentive architecture (campus currency, performance rankings) to achieve 100% goal completion across your cohort.
  • Developing Guides through coaching focused on program adherence and standards execution, ensuring each session yields concrete performance improvements.
  • Managing your own student cohort concurrently with Guide development responsibilities.
  • Monitoring student satisfaction metrics, goal attainment rates, and Guide performance indicators on a weekly basis to identify underperformance early.
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Delivering academic instruction or tutoring in subject areas. Academic content is accessed through self‑directed applications without adult facilitation.
  • Creating original curriculum or developing lesson materials independently. Established playbooks exist; success requires precise execution, not innovation.
  • Training Guides on instructional pedagogy. Guides don’t deliver traditional instruction, so your coaching centers on energy management, motivation techniques, and accountability systems.
  • Accepting 99% performance as sufficient. Maintaining rigorous standards demonstrates your confidence in student capability.
  • Serving as the campus emotional support person. Students receive genuine connection alongside honest evaluation and meaningful accountability.
