• Bachelor’s degree from an accredited university.

• Develop and implement lesson plans that fulfill the district curriculum requirements and show written evidence of preparation as required.
• Prepare lessons that accommodate different student learning styles.
• Present subject matter according to Texas Education Agency guidelines, board policies, and administrative regulations.
• Use instructional strategies, activities, materials, and equipment appropriate to students’ learning needs.
• Assess student learning styles and use results to plan instructional activities.
• Collaborate with special education teachers to modify curriculum for students with IEPs.
• Coordinate with staff to determine instructional goals, objectives, and methods per district requirements.
• Plan and supervise teacher aides and volunteers.
• Use technology to enhance teaching and learning.
• Help students analyze and improve study methods and habits.
• Conduct ongoing assessment of student achievement through formal and informal testing.
• Assume responsibility for extracurricular activities as assigned and sponsor outside activities approved by the Campus Director.
