Virtual Lab School Support Specialist
Manage virtual school students in a computer lab setting. Manage student behavior and lab procedures to ensure a productive learning environment.
Minimum of 48 college hours or high school diploma/equivalent plus pass a District Assessment. Educational Aide Certification.
Ability to work and communicate with high school students and adults effectively. High level of comfort with technology, including online learning environments.
Adhere to TEA and the district's policies and procedures. Take daily attendance each period. Monitor student progress in virtual courses, including daily monitoring, printing and analyzing progress reports. Communicate student behavior and course progress concerns to appropriate school personnel. Communicate and collaborate with virtual teachers Assist students in the computer lab. Assist in communicating with parents. Perform related duties as required.
