Job Summary

The Coordinator, Programming & Curriculum provides operational, administrative, and logistical support for curriculum development, delivery, and maintenance. This position operates within a shared role model, with two employees jointly responsible for supporting curriculum processes, systems, and coordination across academic units.

Duties
  • Executes clerical, technical, and specialized duties, including data collection, management, analysis, and reporting (both internal and external)
  • Assists in intra- and inter-departmental production of academic calendar, external reports, and messaging to university constituents and external partners
  • Collaborates with University staff and faculty to complete special and ongoing projects, including management and review of academic programs; development and maintenance of curriculum; and assurance of program integrity and compliance
  • Supports ad hoc and standing committees
  • Assists the AVP for Programming and Curriculum in the production of the annual catalog, compliance and strategic goal reports, and inter-institutional partnership agreements
  • Maintains accurate and organized curriculum records, logs, and electronic filing systems and processes
Marginal Duties
  • Provides verbal and written guidance to faculty regarding curriculum development process
  • Supports the maintenance of the University’s ongoing compliance with expectations set forth by external governing bodies
  • Reviews public-facing materials to ensure ongoing accuracy and currency
Required Qualifications Education
  • Bachelor’s degree
Experience
  • Minimum of two (2) years of job-related experience
License/Certification
  • N/A
Preferred Qualifications
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to disseminate information across the university in a proactive and professional manner
  • Effective attention to detail, particularly in ensuring the accuracy of documentation
  • Familiarity with relational databases
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Knowledge
  • Knowledge working with multiple electronic platforms, including workflow management systems
  • Understands higher education practices
  • Knowledge of curriculum development programs and initiatives
Skills
  • Can develop an understanding on how to use Teams and SharePoint systems
Abilities
  • Ability to utilize quantitative analytic skills
  • Ability to multitask
  • Ability to work with others to troubleshoot individual or systematic issues
  • Ability to effectively communicate with a wide range of individuals and constituencies
