We serve the students of Houston, Texas, the 4th largest city across the United States. The Role- Executing lower-level behavior interventions with students of concern, including check-ins and check-outs, student reflections and de-escalation.
- Helping progress monitor student behavior trackers.
- Conducting in-class push ins/pull outs to help with de-escalation and coping skills.
- Monitoring students in detention and in-school suspension.
- Performing discipline data entry.
- Assisting teachers with the supervision of students in all instructional settings.
- Assisting teachers with behavior management techniques by demonstrating, modeling, and positively reinforcing desired behaviors.
- Monitoring students during transition times throughout the school day, inside and outside of the classroom, including hallways, cafeteria, gym, and other areas where students are present.
- Monitoring in-school suspension.
- Holding students accountable to campus behavioral expectations and administer appropriate consequences.
- Additional duties as assigned.

Must Haves- 0 – 2 years of experience working with students and student behavior
- Experience working with children in an educational setting

- Ability to work urgently in a fast-paced and results-oriented environment
- Ability to maintain emotional control under stress
- Demonstrated ability to work on a team

- Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited four-year educational institution, in a social science field

- Compensation – This position is a non-exempt, hourly position; salary offers commensurate with experience.
- Health and Supplemental Insurance – A $0 monthly medical option that includes $600 towards a Health Savings Account, in addition to a variety of supplemental benefits including Dental, Vision, Disability, Life, etc. Employees must work 20+ hours a week to be eligible for a full spectrum of benefits, and 10 hours a week minimum for medical benefits.
