Purpose and scope:
The PT Specialist III is responsible for providing computer lab assistance to college students, directing students to library resource materials and open computer lab, creating Student , checking in/out books and videos for students, administering TSI and online exams, and monitoring students throughout the duration of exams. He or she sorts and distributes mail, answers phone calls, and responds to routine questions.
They maintain supplies and forms needed for daily operation.

The work is sedentary. The employee typically sits comfortably to do the work. There may be some walking, standing, bending, carrying light items such as papers, books, or small parts, or driving a vehicle. No special physical demands are required to perform the work.
Work Schedule and Conditions- Equipment used includes PC workstation running on a LAN in a Microsoft Windows environment, calculator, phone and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed to carry out the functions of the position
- Work is performed in a climate-controlled office with minimal exposure to safety hazards
- High school diploma or GED
Hourly Pay Rate: 15.60.
