Virtual Lab School Support Specialist

Manage virtual school students in a computer lab setting, ensuring a productive learning environment through behavior management, student progress monitoring, and technical support.

• Adhere to TEA and district policies and procedures.
• Take daily attendance each period.
• Monitor student progress in virtual courses, including daily monitoring, printing, and analyzing progress reports.
• Communicate student behavior and course progress concerns to appropriate school personnel.
• Collaborate with virtual teachers.
• Assist students in the computer lab and provide technical assistance.
• Communicate and collaborate with parents regarding student progress.
• Perform related duties as required.

• Minimum of 48 college hours or a high school diploma/equivalent and must pass a District Assessment.
• Educational Aide Certification.
• Ability to work and communicate effectively with high‑school students and adults.
• High level of comfort with technology, including proficiency in online learning environments.
