Teacher Assistant/ Paraprofessional, Special Education Assistant, Elementary School
Teaching Assistant job duties include: (1) assisting classroom teachers with instruction of students in grades K - 5; (2) assisting with cafeteria student supervision; (3) assisting with student arrival and dismissal procedures; (4) riding on Youth Development Center (YDC) buses on an as-needed basis, and; (5) other duties as assigned.
Days/Hours Requested:
Mondays – Thursdays from approximately 3:00 pm – 6:00 pm or 6:45 pm (depending on grade level supported). YDC follows the Houston ISD school year calendar.
Pay: $15 - $18/hour depending on experience
Employment preferences:
Bilingual (Spanish) preferred; education-related career interests preferred
