Position: 2026-2027 Part-Time Math Interventionist @ Best Elementary

Part-Time Math Interventionist @ Best Elementary

Will work with small groups of students who need instructional intervention in specified content area(s).

Bachelors degree from a recognized, accredited college or university preferred

Valid educator certification for position(s) of interest preferred

Valid ESL certification preferred

Ability to work in a collaborative environment

Strong desire to make a difference and work with struggling learners

Excellent human relations skills

Knowledge of state curriculum preferred

Experienced certified teacher preferred

Bilingual (English/Spanish) skills preferred

Provide intervention in accordance with the philosophy of the Alief ISD curriculum

Will collaborate with teachers and specialists

Will track student progress

Will participate in on-going professional development

Experience working with children who have difficulties in specified content area(s)

Certified Teachers - $30 per hour

Non-Certified/Degreed - $25 per hour

Retiree rate may differ

Hourly rates listed above are subject to change depending on the funding allocated for the specific job you may be hired for.

As needed throughout the current school year.

The funding for this position is federally funded.

Continuation of the position is contingent upon availability of future funds.
