Primary

Purpose:

* Responsible for the administration, implementation, support, and continuous optimization of the School City assessment platform to advance Title I program goals and campus improvement initiatives.

Qualifications:

Education/Certification:

* Bachelor's degree from accredited university

* Instructional experience

* Demonstrated knowledge of instructional practices

* Effective human relations, communication, and leadership skills

* Knowledge of state and federal accountability systems

Experience:

* Three (3) years of education experience

Major

Responsibilities and Duties:

Ensures the integrity, accuracy, and synchronization of student assessment data; supports campus assessment administration; and provides technical assistance and professional learning to campus personnel in the effective use of School City and data driven instruction. Utilizes evidence-based data analysis practices aligned to the Effective Schools Framework (ESF), ESSA evidence-based requirements, and federal accountability expectations to improve student achievement and close achievement gaps at the campus level.

Collaborates with campus leaders to support the implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of instructional programs and initiatives designed to improve student achievement and close achievement gaps.

Supports the import, export, validation of assessment data through School City and related systems to meet federal and state accountability requirements, inform Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CAN), Campus Improvement Plans (CIP), Title I program evaluations, and data-driven instructional planning.

Program Management

* Serve as the district School City liaison advancing the use of School City tools, assessments, and reports to support data-driven instruction, improve student achievement, accelerate learning, monitor intervention effectiveness, and close achievement gaps among student groups.

* Assist campuses in the collection and presentation of student achievement data used to evaluate the effectiveness and impact of federally funded programs, services, and interventions.

* Support campuses in identifying, implementing, monitoring, and evaluating ESSA-compliant evidence-based instructional strategies and interventions using School City assessment data and performance reports.

* Assist Title I campuses in utilizing assessment data to monitor program effectiveness, measure progress toward performance objectives, evaluate intervention outcomes, and inform annual program evaluations.

* Coordinate School City campus trainings that support Title I schools, in creating student groups requiring accelerated support.

* Assist campuses in using School City assessment results to develop, implement, monitor, and evaluate campus improvement plans and intervention groups aligned with federal accountability expectations.

* Provide technical assistance for Comprehensive Needs Assessments (CAN), Campus Improvement Plans (CIP), and annual evaluation processes using School City data sources.

* Collaborate and train with curriculum team to create School City assessments to monitor student achievement and closing achievement gaps.

* Develop and refine user guides and support resources to ensure a smooth rollout of the testing platform to support student outcomes and close the achievement gap.

* Lead onboarding and training for new staff on all components of the testing platform.

* Design and deliver ongoing professional development of testing platforms for campuses on assessment systems and data practices to accelerate student outcomes and close the achievement gap.

* Support campuses with School City reports to strengthen campus targeted assistance programs to accelerate student outcomes and close the achievement gap.

* Troubleshoot testing platform issues and coordinate with the vendor or district technology team as needed.

* Monitor fidelity of implementation of School City, data-driven instructional protocols, and Title I data-driven instructional practices across campuses to promote effective instruction.

* Support Title I campuses through School City by accessing assessment reports, guiding school leaders in the use of evidence-based interventions for students identified as at risk of failing to meet state academic standards.

* Prepare School City communication templates and video tutorials to support consistent implementation practices.
