DescriptionThe University of Houston‑Downtown Urban Education Department is seeking applications for adjunct teaching positions. Responsibilities include teaching courses in the applicant’s field of expertise in an undergraduate teacher certification program and/or a Master of Arts in Teaching program. Candidates must have demonstrated ability and/or interest in teaching in a multi ethnic, multicultural environment.
Qualifications- For undergraduate courses, an earned Master’s degree with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a field related to the designated teaching assignment
- At least three years of public school teaching experience
- For Master’s degree courses, an earned doctorate with a minimum of 18 graduate hours in a field related to the designated teaching assignment
