Alpha operates differently from conventional schools. Students complete a full academic day in roughly two hours using adaptive software. No lectures. No textbooks. Your responsibility centers on what technology cannot deliver: coaching Pre-K-8 students in life skills including public speaking, concentration, and feedback exchange. You'll spend half your time facilitating hands-on workshops guided by structured playbooks and storytelling techniques. The remainder involves working with students individually or in small groups, analyzing their adaptive learning progress via Coachbot analytics, and driving them toward 100% completion of weekly objectives.

Mastery is verified through Test2

Pass assessments, not participation metrics.

During your first year, you'll manage a student cohort and become fluent in Alpha's methodology: life skill workshops, motivational coaching, mastery-based evaluation. When you consistently guide every student to 100% goal completion while maintaining satisfaction ratings above 90%, advancement to Lead Guide becomes possible—a role where you mentor fellow Guides while remaining active with students. Top performers in this position don't merely transform individual trajectories;

they influence campus-wide operations.

If you've dedicated years to coaching, counseling, or mentoring young people and wish you could eliminate traditional instruction to concentrate purely on their development, this opportunity is for you.

What You Will Be Doing
  • Facilitating one-hour life skill workshops for Pre-K-8 students covering public speaking, concentration, collaboration, and feedback processes (activity-based and project-oriented)
  • Conducting daily individual and small-group coaching sessions where you analyze each student's adaptive learning progress (via Coachbot analytics), establish objectives, and drive them toward 100% weekly goal achievement
  • Overseeing and assessing Test2

    Pass evaluations to verify genuine mastery of each life skill, beyond simple participation
  • Adjusting your approach across diverse age groups, from Pre-K learners requiring dynamic, movement-rich engagement to 8th graders needing direct conversation and accountability
  • Cultivating authentic connections with each student so they trust you sufficiently to receive coaching through challenges, distraction, and uncertainty
What You Won’t Be Doing
  • Presenting lectures or providing conventional academic instruction (core subjects are learned through adaptive applications, not through your teaching)
  • Creating lesson plans or developing curriculum independently (Alpha supplies life skills playbooks; your role is to execute them with energy and narrative skill)
  • Handling parent communications or administrative school functions (Campus Leads manage those areas; your focus remains on students)
  • Evaluating homework or overseeing standardized testing preparation (these elements don't exist in this environment)
  • Operating independently (you're embedded in a campus team including Lead Guides, Campus Leads, and colleagues who exchange feedback and maintain mutual accountability)
Academic Coach
