Digital Learning Facilitator

Under general supervision at Texas Southern University Online | Digital Learning Innovation & Professional Education, the Digital Learning Facilitator serves as a support conduit for students, staff, and faculty, facilitating the effective use of instructional technologies and emerging digital tools, including AI in teaching, learning, and career preparation. The facilitator creates and provides hands-on training, support, and consultation to enhance student engagement, professional development, and academic success.

Essential Duties Summary
- Provides frontline student support for learning technologies, including an understanding of the ethical and responsible use of AI. Design, deliver, and train on ethical AI-enabled approaches that support everyday workflows. Develop and maintain practical AI learning resources, playbooks, and knowledge-based resources that translate complex concepts into actionable business practices. Facilitate live workshops and executive sessions focused on AI adoption, workflow, transformation, and responsible AI use.

Design multi-modal learning experiences including self-paced resources, live instruction, demonstrations, and hands-on exercises. Gather participant feedback and program metrics to continuously improve curriculum, engagement, and adoption outcomes. Partner and collaborate with students, staff, and instructors to identify learning gaps and design targeted AI enablement strategies. Conducts individual consultations and group training sessions with students, staff, and faculty on AI and emerging digital tools.

Creates and maintains training materials, tutorials, user guides, and knowledge-based resources. Design initiatives and digital learning projects that directly impact student preparation and professional development. Assists with the testing, evaluation, and implementation of new educational technologies. Maintains records of training activities, consultations, technology usage, and support requests. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Hiring Range - $45,486.69 - $57,995.53

Education

- Required:

High school diploma or equivalent. Preferred:
Bachelor's degree in instructional technology, learning science, information technology, or a related field, with relevant professional experience
