The Curriculum and Instruction Department (CUIN) in the Collegeof Education at the University of Houston offers a broad range of undergraduate and graduate-level courses in education across multiple content areas, including teaching and teacher education,and occasionally has openings for part-time Adjuncts. Interestedand qualified candidates with experience in teaching and teacher education are invited to apply to be considered for these temporary, part-time positions. We welcome candidates whose experience in teaching, research, or community service has preparedthem to contribute to our commitment to excellence.
The minimum qualification of the successful candidate is a M.Ed.degree in a closely related field. A doctorate in a related fieldand relevant teaching experience are preferred.
Adjunct appointments are made on a semester basis.
Official transcripts are required for a faculty appointment andwill be requested upon selection of the final candidates. All positions at the University of Houston-System are security sensitive and will require a criminal history check.
