Job DescriptionPurpose and Scope:
It is the responsibility of the teaching faculty to provide learning activities and support that lead to the achievement of course objectives and contribute to the educational environment. The primary responsibilities are to plan, develop, and teach courses within the curriculum in a manner that facilitates student learning.
- Teach Business Administration courses at a variety of times and locations
- Create engaging lessons that promote student involvement and application of the material
- Submit required college reports and forms in a timely manner
- Utilize a course syllabus for each course following established institutional guidelines
- Meet with and advise students before or after class or by appointment, electronic communication, or other appropriate methods
- Evaluate students to measure progress in achieving course objectives and inform them in a timely manner
- Maintain professional relationships with students, colleagues, and the community
- Attend meetings, trainings, and orientations as required
- Perform other reasonable related duties as assigned

- Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to appreciate alternative viewpoints and work effectively with a wide variety of people

The work is sedentary. The employee sits comfortably most of the time, with occasional walking, standing, bending, or carrying light items. No special physical demands are required.
Work Schedule and Conditions- Equipment: PC workstation, calculator, phone, and other general office equipment
- Interface with internal and external contacts as needed
- Work performed in a climate‑controlled classroom or lab
- Hours vary depending on class time; instructor required to meet with classes at all scheduled times and be available outside instruction
- Master's degree in management/business/administration, JD, or Master's with 18 graduate hours in management/business
$55.44 per contact hour.
