Job Requirements Qualification
  • MBBS or equivalent medical qualification
    , recognized and registered with PM&DC
    .
  • FCPS / MS / MD or another PM&DC-recognized Level III postgraduate qualification in the relevant specialty
    .
  • Valid PM&DC registration/license to practice
    .
  • Qualification must be recognized/registered by PM&DC and relevant to the position.
Experience
  • Minimum 2 years of clinical experience in the relevant specialty after obtaining the Level III postgraduate qualification
    , in a recognized teaching hospital/institution.
  • At least 2 research publications in the relevant subject
    , as required under the PM&DC criteria for Assistant Professor appointments.
  • Demonstrated experience in undergraduate/postgraduate teaching and clinical supervision will be an advantage.
Job Description
  • Clinical Services Provision: Provide high-quality patient care in the relevant specialty in OPD, IPD, and emergency settings.
  • Teaching & Academic Delivery: Deliver lectures, tutorials, and clinical teaching to undergraduate and postgraduate students.
  • Supervision of Trainees: Supervise Senior Registrars, Registrars, and House Officers in clinical and academic activities.
  • Research & Publications: Conduct research and publish in recognized journals as per PMDC criteria.
  • Curriculum Implementation: Contribute to curriculum delivery and assessment processes.
  • Clinical Procedures & Expertise: Perform and supervise clinical procedures relevant to the specialty.
  • Ward Rounds & Case Management: Lead ward rounds and ensure evidence-based patient management.
  • Assessment & Evaluation: Participate in student assessments, examinations, and evaluations.
  • Quality Assurance: Engage in audits, accreditation processes, and quality improvement initiatives.
  • Institutional Service: Participate in committees and academic/administrative activities.
  • Professional Development: Maintain continuous medical education and PMDC compliance.
  • General Responsibility: Any other task assigned by the management.
