Provides basic academic advising support to prospective and enrolled undergraduate students under supervision. Focuses onroutine advising, program requirements, and student support services.

• 1. Advises enrolled and prospective students regarding academic programs and curriculum.
• 2. Delivers general academic advising on degree requirements,course selection, and academic policies and procedures.
• 3. Assists students with registration and schedule planning.
• 4. Refers students to campus resources (tutoring, counseling,financial aid).
• 5. Maintains accurate student records in advising systems.
• 6. Supports orientation and onboarding programs.
• 7. Responds to routine student inquiries via email and appointments.
• 8. May assist in recruiting high school and community college students and may make presentations at special events.
• 9. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.

Experience will be considered in lieu of education.

MQ:
Requires a thorough understanding of both theoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical or professional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than one professional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normally obtainedthrough a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree from a collegeor university or an equivalent in-depth specialized training program that is directly related to the type of work being performed. No experience required.
