I/O Technician
Location:
Claude, TX 79019
- Pay rate range: $44 – 63/hr salary will be commensurate with experience.
- Work schedule:
Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM – 5:00 PM, 10-hour days. Working every other Saturday 10‑hour days. No Sundays. About 60 hr. weeks. Subject to change. All hours over 40 will be time and a half. - Start Date:
Beginning of May, end of April - Duration: 2 years for full project duration
- Work location:
Claude, TX 79019 - Per Diem: $178/day
- Travel:
Time spent traveling to and from site is paid up to 4 hours each way. No Per Diem on travel days - Weekly pay
- Benefits after 30 days (health insurance, dental insurance, vision insurance, etc.)
- 401k after 30 days
- Job offer will be contingent on drug screen and background check
- OSHA 10 (Cons.) is required PRIOR to first day onsite
- Installation and Commissioning: Install, test, and commission control systems including HVAC, electrical, and lighting systems. Ensure all control systems are properly configured and calibrated to meet operational requirements.
- Monitoring and Optimization: Monitor control systems to ensure they are operating efficiently. Adjust system parameters and programming to optimize performance and energy efficiency. Respond to alarms and alerts, diagnosing issues, and implementing corrective actions.
- Documentation and Reporting: Maintain detailed records of all maintenance, repairs, and system configurations. Generate reports on system performance, energy usage, and maintenance activities.
- Collaboration: Work closely with other technicians, engineers, and facility staff to coordinate activities and ensure seamless operation. Provide technical support and guidance to team members as needed.
- Compliance and Safety: Ensure all control systems comply with relevant codes, standards, and regulations. Adhere to all safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Education: Associate's degree or technical certification in electrical, mechanical, or control systems engineering or a related field. Direct experience will be considered in lieu of degree.
- Experience: Minimum of 3 years of experience working with control systems in a data center or similar environment.
- Technical
Skills:
Proficiency in control systems programming and configuration; strong understanding of HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems; ability to read and interpret technical drawings and schematics; familiarity with various control system platforms; BMS or SCADA is a plus; experience conducting I/O checkouts.

- Strong communication and teamwork abilities.
- Attention to detail and a proactive approach to work.
