We are seeking a driven and commercially astute Electrical Services Sales Director to lead and grow our electrical services revenue across the US energy sector.

This is a senior leadership role responsible for developing and executing a sales strategy that positions Aurora Energy Services as the partner of choice for electrical services across utilities, oil and gas, and renewables.

The successful candidate will bring an established network, a track record of closing high-value contracts, and the energy sector expertise to navigate complex, multi-stakeholder sales environments.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

Specific duties and responsibilities shall include the following:

  • Develop and execute a comprehensive sales strategy for electrical services across the US energy sector, targeting utilities, BESS, Solar, oil & gas, wind and renewable clients.
  • Identify, qualify, and pursue new business opportunities, building a robust pipeline of electrical services contracts.
  • Lead the full sales cycle from initial client engagement through to contract award, working closely with estimating, operations, and commercial teams.
  • Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with key decision-makers and stakeholders across target client organizations.
  • Represent Aurora at industry events, trade shows, and client meetings to raise brand profile and generate new leads.
  • Provide accurate sales forecasting and pipeline reporting through Salesforce CRM, ensuring visibility for senior leadership.
  • Monitor competitor activity and market trends across the US electrical services landscape, feeding intelligence back into commercial strategy.
  • Build bid submissions and ensure the proposals are compelling, commercially sound, and delivered on time.
  • Meet and exceed agreed revenue and growth targets on a quarterly and annual basis.
SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
  • Minimum 5 years of sales experience within the US energy sector, with a strong focus on electrical services, power, or related technical services.
  • Demonstrated track record of winning large, complex contracts with utilities, energy operators, or industrial clients.
  • Established network of contacts across the US energy sector including utilities, EPCs, and energy operators.
  • Strong commercial acumen with the ability to understand client needs, structure compelling value propositions, and negotiate effectively.
  • Proficiency in Salesforce CRM and Microsoft Office Suite; experience in pipeline management and sales reporting.
PREFERRED
  • Experience selling into the wind energy or broader renewables sector is highly advantageous.
  • Familiarity with electrical contracting, substation work, HV/LV systems, or similar technical services within the energy sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Business, or a related field.
  • Existing relationships with major US utility companies, energy developers, or EPC contractors.
