Project Development Associate / Senior Associate

My client has over twenty years of experience developing energy infrastructure projects through out North America and Europe. They are looking to add talented project development professionals to their growing team out of the Houston office.

The Associate will play a pivotal role in the development and management of thermal generation and utility-scale energy projects across the U.S. Responsibilities span the full project lifecycle-from early-stage development through to financing or divestiture. Core duties include:

• Managing project budgets, schedules, and approvals
• Overseeing permitting, interconnection, and real estate agreements
• Supporting commercial offtake and stakeholder engagement
• Collaborating across internal teams (engineering, legal, finance, etc.)
• Collaborating across external stakeholders.
• Monitoring market trends and identifying new opportunities

• Bachelor's degree or MBA
• 3+ years in energy or power generation
• Familiarity with PJM, MISO, or SPP markets preferred
• Strong communication, negotiation, and project management skills
• Willingness to travel (~25%).
• Willingness to work hyrbid out of their Houston office
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to write reports and presentations appropriate for various organizational levels as well as for the
