Director, U.S. Energy Business Development
Houston, TX
A global energy and infrastructure leader is launching in the U.S. power market — and we're helping them find the person who will originate and grow it. This is a strategic, ground-floor role to drive market entry, build industry relationships, and close utility-scale energy deals across Texas and the U.S.
What you'll own- Building and executing the U.S. market-entry and growth strategy
- Originating and managing a pipeline of BESS, solar, and power generation opportunities
- Building relationships with IPPs, developers, EPCs, utilities, and key stakeholders
- Leading negotiations on EPC contracts, commercial terms, and risk allocation
- 15+ years in power generation, energy/project development, or business development
- Hands-on GREENFIELD battery storage (BESS) experience — this is a must
- A track record originating, negotiating, and closing large-scale energy deals
- Texas / ERCOT market experience strongly preferred
- Compensation: $200,000–$300,000 base
