Senior Landman

We are seeking an experienced Senior Landman to support drilling operations, commercial negotiations, and land management activities in East Texas. This role will partner with cross‑functional teams to secure drill‑ready acreage, negotiate key agreements, and drive successful field development initiatives.

• Manage land‑related activities supporting active drilling and development program
• Review title information, abstracts, and title opinions to ensure drill site clearance
• Negotiate and prepare agreements including JOAs, farmouts, trades, assignments, pooling declarations, and other operational contracts
• Build and maintain strong relationships with partners, vendors, and stakeholders
• Evaluate land, acquisition, and development opportunities within assigned areas
• Mentor junior land professionals and support team development
• Collaborate with technical, operational, and commercial teams to achieve business objectives

• 10+ years of in‑house land experience within the oil and gas industry
• Bachelor's degree in Energy or Business
• Strong experience with title review, contract negotiation, and drill site clearance
• Proven record working with allocation wells, and proficiency with cotenancy principles
• East Texas experience and knowledge of cross‑unit development highly preferred
• Proven ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities
• Excellent communication, relationship‑building, and negotiation skills
• Experience with Enverus and/or ArcGIS – Highly preferred
