200103 – Field Laser Scanning Technician & Operations Assistant
Location:Houston, TX (Field-Based + Remote Hybrid)
Employment Type:Part-Time (W2) with Path to Full-Time
20–30 hours per week
We are a growing reality capture and digital documentation company specializing in 3D laser scanning (LiDAR), BIM modeling, and building documentation.
We are looking for a reliable, hands‑on team member to assist with field scanning operations and support light office and business development tasks.
This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working both in the field with equipment and on a computer, and wants to grow into a technical or operations role.
Key Responsibilities:Field Work (Primary – ~70%):
- Assist with 3D laser scanning projects across Houston
- Set up, move, and monitor scanning equipment (LiDAR scanners, cameras, tripods)
- Follow structured scanning workflows and checklists
- Ensure complete and accurate data capture in the field
- Handle equipment transport, setup, and breakdown
- Assist with basic troubleshooting of field equipment
- Upload and organize project data (cloud storage)
- Perform basic file organization and QA checks
- Assist with preparing project deliverables
- Support lead generation and outreach (email / Linked In)
- Update CRM and track project opportunities
- Assist with proposal formatting and administrative tasks
- Strong work ethic and reliability
- Comfortable with physical field work (walking, lifting equipment, working outdoors)
- Basic technical aptitude and willingness to learn
- Organized and detail‑oriented
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
- Experience in construction, surveying, or engineering
- Familiarity with cameras, drones, or scanning equipment
- Basic knowledge of CAD, GIS, or mapping tools
- Experience with spreadsheets or CRM systems

- Field days may require full‑day availability (6–10 hours)
