Rope Access Level III Technician
MISTRAS Group had an immediate need for a Rope Access Level III Technician with Level II UTT and radiation safety certifications for a full-time nested position in Baytown, TX.
Major Responsibilities/Activities:
- Represents MISTRAS in a positive and professional manner at all times.
- Provides exemplary customer service and support.
- Works effectively within a team structure.
- Reflects an intense focus on safety, health, and risk management.
- Conducts daily safety meetings.
- Uses effective leadership, management, and training.
- Documents and provides timely feedback.
- Serves as a safe, effective, and valued member of the team.
- Keeps MISTRAS Project Manager(s) and other company leaders informed.
- Proactively contacts leadership staff to engage their assistance.
- Adheres to the scope and technique standards associated with rope access certification.
- Develops and maintains extensive knowledge of rescue preparedness.
- Follows company policies, procedures, and work instructions.
- Completes all training assignments on time.
- Meets availability and attendance standards.
- Knows, understands, and exemplifies the Company's Expedition Behaviors.
- Other duties and responsibilities as assigned.
- Maintains certification as a Level III Rope Access Technician.
- Level II UTT Certification
- 40 Hour Radiation Safety Certification
- High school graduate or GED. Relevant bachelor's and advanced degrees are an asset.
- Meets the Company's first-aid, CPR, and AED certification requirements.
- Valid driver's license within the state of primary residence, without restrictions.
- Able to effectively use technology including computers and communication devices.
