About the Company

Founded in 2017, Churchill Cost Consultants (Churchill) has swiftly become a leader in construction project controls and management. Our mission is to build lasting client relationships by exceeding expectations and delivering unparalleled value across all projects. We serve clients in data center, corporate real estate, infrastructure, and industrial sectors, with experience managing budgets from $1 million to $2 billion. We believe our people are our most important investment, and we’re committed to building an inclusive culture where our team members can grow, lead, and succeed.

About the Role

Churchill Cost Consultants (Churchill) is seeking an experienced Energy & Power Project Manager with 5–10 years of experience in the energy, power, utility, or energy infrastructure industry to support the Clean Energy and Power team for a Fortune 100 technology firm. This role will support the development and execution of energy, utility, and power infrastructure projects, working closely with internal commercial, legal, finance, procurement, engineering, and project teams, as well as utilities and external energy partners.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in the energy and power industry and a working understanding of how energy projects move from early-stage development through commercial approval and execution. Candidates with experience in utilities, power generation, electrical infrastructure, renewable energy, natural gas, energy procurement, transmission and distribution, substations, microgrids, battery energy storage, on-site generation, or other energy infrastructure are encouraged to apply.

This role is particularly well suited for someone who understands the terminology, stakeholders, processes, and commercial considerations associated with energy projects and can effectively manage multiple work streams to keep projects moving forward.

Responsibilities

  • Manage and support the development and execution of energy, utility, and power infrastructure projects, coordinating multiple work streams from early-stage development through commercial approval and execution.
  • Coordinate with internal stakeholders, utilities, energy developers, power providers, and other external partners on energy deals, utility engagements, power generation projects, and energy infrastructure agreements.
  • Coordinate commercial and legal documentation, including NDAs, exclusivity agreements, statements of work, contracts, and other early-stage commercial agreements, from initial submission through review, redlines, approvals, and execution.
  • Partner with Legal, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management teams to drive project approvals, funding requests, procurement activities and key commercial milestones.
  • Launch and track Purchase Orders (POs) and other financial or procurement requests, ensuring required approvals are obtained within project timelines.
  • Maintain accurate project, commercial, and financial information across internal systems and perform ongoing data quality and project controls checks to ensure reporting is complete, accurate, and aligned with internal standards.
  • Develop and maintain project trackers, status reports, action‑item logs, and other project management tools to monitor milestones, decisions, risks, dependencies, and outstanding actions.
  • Lead and coordinate cross‑functional meetings with internal and external stakeholders, including preparation of agendas, meeting materials, and minutes, while ensuring action items and decisions are clearly documented and followed through.
  • Identify opportunities to improve project coordination, commercial processes, data quality and cross‑functional collaboration across the Clean Energy & Power portfolio.

Qualifications

  • 5–10 years of experience in the energy, power, utility, or energy infrastructure industry.
  • Demonstrated experience managing or coordinating energy and power projects through multiple stages of development and execution.
  • Strong understanding of energy, utility, and power infrastructure processes, stakeholders, and commercial considerations.
  • Experience working cross-functionally with teams such as Legal, Finance, Procurement, Engineering, and Project Management.
  • Strong project management, organizational, communication, and problem‑solving skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
  • Fluent in English, written and verbal, and legally authorized to work in the United States.

Required Skills

  • Experience with power generation, utilities, renewable energy, natural gas, BESS, OSG, substations, transmission and distribution, or other electrical infrastructure.
  • Experience supporting energy deals, utility agreements, PPAs, energy procurement, or other commercial energy activities.
  • Experience working with energy developers, utilities, independent power producers (IPPs), power providers, or other energy industry stakeholders.
