Medical Imaging Field Engineer 3 – Service Area:
Houston, TX;
Shift: 1st
- Service AT Imaging Equipment, performing installation, troubleshooting, repair, and preventative maintenance on Siemens Healthcare systems at customer sites.
- Deliver timely repairs and train operators to ensure optimal system performance and customer satisfaction.
- Manage financial performance in territory: revenue generation, expense control, and inventory management.
- Maintain tool and test equipment expiration dates, ensuring accurate documentation on eFSR.
- Manage company assets including company car, cell phone, computer, tools, and inventory parts.
- Establish and maintain proper business relationships with customers and peers, and accurately perform necessary administrative duties.
- Provide mentoring opportunities to other CSE staff on all competencies and responsibilities.
- Knowledge and experience servicing imaging equipment with minimal supervision.
- Ability to establish and maintain business relationships and perform administrative duties accurately.
- Experience in testing, repairing, and maintaining capital medical equipment.
- Strong customer service and communication skills.
- Minimum high school diploma; technical associate’s degree or equivalent preferred.
- Proficient in tools and service test equipment; able to work individually and in a team.
- Proficiency in network applications and tools (eVO, mButler, MS Office, Concur, NAM Customer Service website – Engineer Tools).
- Ability to locate, read, and understand installation, setup, repair, troubleshooting, schematics, block diagrams, and functional descriptions.
- 7+ years’ experience as a medical technologist or field service engineer (biomedical engineer) servicing imaging instruments.
- Valid driver’s license; ability to drive independently day and night; good driving record.
- Lifting up to 50 lbs (floor to above waist/head), walking, ladder/step stool climbing, bending, twisting, sitting, squatting, standing, high-reach, fine grasping, good vision; ability to work alone.
Position must meet all Vendor Credentialing requirements necessary to access client sites, including valid identification, background checks, drug screens, immunizations, and health‑training certifications.

$78,380 – $107,778, based on location, experience, and other qualifications.
