As a Maintenance Planner III, you'll be supporting ENGIE's Renewables Global Business Unit (RGBU) initiatives for the United States and Canada wind and solar sites. Collaborating closely with high voltage and augmented maintenance field services, electrical and mechanical engineers, as well as site management, your main responsibilities will revolve around planning, scheduling, and ensuring timely updates on inspections, repairs, and maintenance activities for mechanical, electrical in BESS and solar generation power plants.
Planning and scheduling scheduled and emergent outages at substations for wind, solar, and BESS facilities. This includes addressing obstacles, coordinating with vendors and contractors, and overseeing part procurement, shipment status, logistics, invoicing, billing, and progress reporting. Additionally, you'll be responsible for monitoring budgets, schedules, and personnel during site maintenance outages. Your role will also encompass developing inspection documents, processes, and maintenance instructions utilizing computer software, particularly computerized maintenance management systems like Maximo and SAP, to maintain technical and safety documentation, as well as keeping historical records.
Furthermore, you will utilize Microsoft Office, Maximo, and SAP to prepare documents, spreadsheets, and correspondence for reporting to leadership. Your role will be key in taking precise actions to create a safe, efficient, and cost effective approach to scheduling and planning equipment and system maintenance.
What You'll Bring
- Minimum high school education or equivalent
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience with working knowledge in scheduling, planning, coordinating field work in renewable energy environments
- Familiar with compliance regulations for PRC-005-6C for maintenance on qualified facilities, preferred
- Must be able to use Outlook, Word, and Excel daily to analyze, communicate, distribute and report data to leadership and external partners
- Working knowledge of a maintenance management system such as Maximo/ SAP
- You must have process knowledge of operational scheduling, planning, logistics, and inspections
- Must be able to schedule meetings with stakeholders and provide pre and post outage reports and updates
- Must possess excellent communication skills and the ability to convey clear and precise instructions on work to be executed
- Capable of generating Job Plans, Predictive Maintenance, and Preventative maintenance documents
Additional Details
- This role requires daily attendance at a worksite
- Must be available to travel domestically up to 30% of the time and with the need for some overnight trips to attend company events and training when needed
- Must possess a valid U.S. driver's license/clean driving record to drive company vehicle or to drive personal vehicle for company events.
- Must be willing and able to comply with all ENGIE ethics and safety policies
Compensation
Hourly Range: $42.69 - $58.40 USD hourly
This represents the average expected pay range for a qualified candidate.
ENGIE complies with all federal, state, and local minimum wage laws. Actual salary offered may vary depending on geography, experience, education, internal pay alignment, or other bona fide factors.
In addition to base pay, this position is eligible for a competitive bonus / incentive plan.
