Description
QA Technician — Project ExecutionHelp us build it right—before it ever reaches the customer.
At Crescent Power Systems, we engineer and integrate complex electrical distribution systems that help power some of the most demanding industrial environments. Our Project Execution team makes sure those systems come together the right way—and we’re looking for a QA Technician to help make that happen.
This is a hands‑on role for someone who enjoys being where the work is happening. Working alongside our QA Manager, Project Managers, vendors, manufacturers, and customers, you’ll help ensure our integrated electrical buildings are built according to approved designs, industry standards, project schedules, and customer expectations.
What You’ll DoYou’ll be involved throughout the integration process—from reviewing equipment and materials at the building manufacturer to supporting inspections, punch lists, Factory Acceptance Testing, and final delivery. You’ll:
- Review integrated electrical buildings at multiple stages of fabrication.
- Inspect equipment and identify potential design, quality, or execution issues.
- Track materials, schedules, punch lists, and project documentation.
- Coordinate with vendors and manufacturers to keep projects moving.
- Participate in customer and third‑party inspections and Factory Acceptance Testing.
- Visit vendor and integrator facilities to inspect major equipment such as switch gear, MCCs, VFDs, HVAC systems, and control equipment.
- Communicate project status, issues, and solutions to internal teams and customers.
- Help capture lessons learned and identify ways to continually improve our processes.
We believe great work happens when talented people have the opportunity to learn, contribute, and be part of a team that genuinely cares about doing things right. At CPS, you’ll work alongside knowledgeable professionals, interact with customers and industry partners, and have opportunities to grow your technical and professional skills.
We offer excellent benefits, a collaborative work environment, professional development opportunities, and a culture that values safety, integrity, continuous improvement, and the people behind our success.
If you like solving problems, learning how things work, and taking pride in delivering quality work, we’d love to meet you.
Requirements What You BringWe’re looking for someone with technical training or strong field experience who is comfortable around electrical equipment and industrial environments. A technical degree, journeyman electrical certification, or electrical engineering background is preferred, but exceptional field experience can be just as valuable.
Experience with electrical distribution systems, metal building fabrication, field service, inspections, or industrial projects is a plus. Familiarity with equipment such as switch gear, motor control centers, substations, and control systems is especially helpful.
