This is an outstanding opportunity to join a leading industry specialist as the QHSSE Director, overseeing all Quality, Health, Safety, Security, and Environmental programs across the award‑winning facility.
The ideal candidate is a strategic, hands‑on QHSSE leader with deep experience in chemical or hazardous materials operations and able to bring subject‑matter expertise in safety, environmental compliance and leads by example in the field.

THE ROLE- Lead strategic Quality, Health, Safety, Security & Environmental initiatives and environmental programs ensuring alignment with corporate and regulatory standards.
- Serve as the primary advisor on all QHSSE legislation and compliance requirements (OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, federal & state environmental regulations).
- Oversee attainment and maintenance of certifications as well as manage chemical approval, environmental risk assessments, and emergency response readiness.
- Direct QHSSE policy development, risk management programs, audits, performance metrics, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- QHSSE leadership experience in chemical plants, petroleum refineries, or hazardous material storage, with strong environmental and process safety background.
- Degreed professional in Biology, Chemistry, Chemical/Environmental Engineering, Occupational Safety, or related field (Master’s preferred).
- Extensive knowledge of OSHA, NFPA, EPA, NIOSH, and additional federal, state, and local regulatory requirements.
- Strong communicator, highly collaborative, and skilled at influencing stakeholders at all levels.

The salary advertised is the bracket available for this position. The actual salary paid will be dependent on your level of experience, qualifications and skill set.
