Control Systems Engineer

Work within the I/E & Control Systems Department, designing control systems for large industrial projects in midstream gas processing, petroleum refining, petrochemical, and upstream oil & gas industries.

• Act as a control systems engineer for selected projects.
• 10% - Interact with other engineering disciplines, engineering and construction project managers, and clients.
• 5% - Provide input to the initial project schedule and support the regular maintenance of project schedules for designated projects.
• 20% - Work process quality review and drawing approval in the capacity of a lead engineer.
• 40% - Responsible for PLC/DCS Programming and HMI configuration.
• 25% - Perform Software Factory Acceptance Tests and Hardware Acceptance Tests for the plant control system.
• Provide man hour and equipment estimates for project proposals.
• Able to work under pressure and coordinate numerous activities.
• Self-motivated with ability to work with others.

• BS. in Electrical Engineering or B.S. in Engineering with equivalent I/E & control systems experience required.
• 5+ years' experience required, 10+ years preferred.
• Must have Allen Bradley Control Logix PLCs and Wonderware HMI development experience.
• Delta V Programming experience is a plus.
• Industrial networking experience is a plus.
• Should be a self-learner and willing to go the extra mile to accomplish tasks.
• EIT licensure required or ability to get licensed after joining the company.
• Must have troubleshooting skills.
• Must have commissioning and start-up experience.
• Must be able to travel up to 30% of the time.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills required.

• Professional and ethical.
• Strong Computer skills (MS Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
• Well developed, detail oriented organizational skills.

• Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time.

• Ability to carry up to 50 pounds.
