Process Engineer II – ASSA ABLOY Opening Solutions Americas

We are growing and looking for a Process Engineer II in Houston, Texas. This on‑site position supports daily operations and continuous improvement across our facility.

Responsibilities & Projects
  • Identify and execute cost‑reduction opportunities across materials, scrap, labor, and tooling.
  • Support new product and process introductions, ensuring smooth transitions into production.
  • Lead root cause investigations and implement corrective actions.
  • Create and maintain process documentation and SOPs.
  • Monitor equipment performance and partner with Maintenance on repairs or upgrades.
  • Champion lean principles and 5S standards across assigned areas.
  • Manage mid‑level capital and process improvement projects.
  • Handle special assignments as assigned.
  • Maintain a safe and harmonious working environment, holding self and others accountable to OSHA and ASSA ABLOY standards.
  • Ensure compliance with federal, state, local and corporate policies, regulations, AADG programs and policies and the ASSA ABLOY Code of Conduct.
Qualifications & Experience
  • Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering.
  • 2–4 years of experience in a manufacturing environment.
  • Proven experience with continuous improvement and cost‑reduction projects.
  • Strong understanding of industrial manufacturing operations and workflow design.
  • Proficiency in CAD tools (Solid Works preferred) and statistical analysis software (Mini Tab preferred).
  • Six Sigma Green or Black Belt certification preferred.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish preferred.
