Chemicals is seeking to recruit a Process Engineer for a leading global manufacturer of chemical polymers
, based in Houston, Texas
.

As a Process Engineer, you will play a key role in optimizing plant performance, ensuring product quality, and driving process improvements across polymer manufacturing operations. This is a critical position for an experienced engineer who thrives on solving complex technical challenges within a high-performance chemical production environment.

Responsibilities
  • Develop, optimize, and troubleshoot polymer production processes to improve efficiency, yield, and quality.
  • Lead process design, scale-up, and modification projects to support manufacturing and reliability goals.
  • Collaborate with operations, maintenance, and quality teams to identify and implement process improvements.
  • Support plant commissioning, startup, and shutdown activities as required.
  • Analyze process data to identify performance gaps and drive continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Ensure all processes comply with safety, environmental, and regulatory standards.
  • Prepare technical reports, process documentation, and standard operating procedures.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor’s degree in Chemical Engineering (required).
  • Minimum of 5 years’ experience in polymer or chemical manufacturing environments.
  • Strong understanding of polymerization processes, unit operations, and process control systems.
  • Proven ability to analyze data, identify root causes, and implement effective solutions.
  • Experience with P&IDs, PFDs, and process simulation tools.
  • Excellent communication and teamwork skills with a proactive approach to safety and quality.
