Project Engineer, Engineering Design & Technologists

Are you an engineer who excels at bridging the gap between complex technical design and successful project delivery? We are looking for a high-caliber Project Engineer to join a water management company. Reporting to the Engineering Manager, you will serve as the primary point of contact for key projects—managing everything from technical design integrity to high-level client partnerships.

• Project Leadership: Own the lifecycle of water/wastewater projects, ensuring they are delivered on time, within budget, and to the highest technical standards.
• Technical Integrity: Review product designs and engineering analyses to ensure they exceed both contractual obligations and current 2026 industry standards.
• Strategic Procurement: Navigate the supply chain by identifying top-tier vendors, managing RFQs, and making value-based purchasing decisions that never compromise on specification compliance.
• Commercial Growth: Act as a technical consultant to our clients, identifying out-of-scope opportunities and preparing the commercial proposals that drive project expansion.
• Field Engagement: Conduct site walk-downs and vendor inspections, ensuring that what is designed in AutoCAD performs flawlessly in the field.

• Educational Foundation: A Bachelor of Science in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering or related field.
• Sector Expertise: Proven experience in the water/wastewater industry, ideally with exposure to pumps, piping systems, and large-scale industrial process integration.
• The Toolkit: Mastery of Microsoft Project for schedule management and AutoCAD for design modifications.
• The Mindset: You are a self-directed problem solver who can pivot between independent project management and collaborative team-based execution.
