Responsible for coordination, production, and revision of the development and execution of detailed civil/structural engineering required for approved projects. Apply methodologies, procedures and specifications of the civil/structural engineering department while complying with quality, cost and time standards.

• Participate in project drafts through preliminary geotechnical evaluations and constructability reviews.
• Prepare preliminary and final foundation and structural steel requirements for the investment budgets in the draft stages.
• Generate necessary information and documentation (requests, comparison charts, recommendations) for detailed engineering and services hiring based on department specifications.
• Coordinate and supervise detailed civil/structural engineering tasks, following schedules and correcting deviations.
• Review calculations from third‑party engineering firms.
• Verify compliance with norms, standards and design specifications from designers and engineering buffers.
• Revise all civil/structural engineering drafts and certified drawings from third‑party firms.
• Develop job concept catalogs for bidding and construction hiring.
• Provide technical participation and support to the construction department for construction situations.
• Actively participate during construction and commissioning of the project.
• Assist in training and development courses to keep performance updated.
• Request necessary field information from group plants or subsidiaries to ensure continuity of projects.
• Directly supervise Civil/Structural Engineers, including workload planning, coaching, and performance evaluation.

• English Language Proficiency.
• Spanish Language Proficiency (Desirable).
• Civil/Structural Engineering Master's Degree.
• Professional Engineering PE License (Mandatory for FL, TX, CA; desirable for TN, CO, GA).
• 8-10 Years Prior Experience in Projects Execution (Engineering development & Construction).

• Strong leadership skills.
• Solid understanding of engineering drawings and files.
• Must understand fabrication drawing preparations and interpretation and construction drawing preparations and interpretation.
• Computer proficiency in Windows, Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Microsoft Project, SAP, STAAD Pro, 3D Modeling, AutoCAD, Solid Works, BIM.
• Soft Skills:
  
  management, presentation skills, public speaking, self‑motivated.

• Continuous exposure to extreme heat, extreme cold, extreme noise, and working outdoors.
• Must wear protective equipment while at the location.
• Travel estimate 40%-60%.

• Requires walking, sitting, lifting, pushing, pulling and climbing to some degree.
• Exerting up to 50 pounds of force occasionally.
• During duties the employee is regularly required to talk and hear to communicate with employees/visitors and function safely around heavy rolling equipment.
