Responsibilities

POSITION SUMMARY:

The focus of this position is on drilling fluids design and liquid/solids separation equipment. The Regional Sales Manager will manage and grow revenue and profitability for assigned group of accounts and/or geography according to the strategy of the organizational leadership reflected in the individual sales goals. Prospect for new customers and new opportunities in assigned market segments. Support commercialization of new product developments.

Key aspects are relationship management, prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, communication skills, consultative selling, versatility and collecting/reporting market information. The ideal candidate is experienced in trenchless/underground construction management.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Maximize sales revenue related to drilling fluids and liquid/solids separation equipment to both established accounts as well as target new business opportunities in assigned market segments.
  • Develop and utilize a strong technical understanding of our products and equipment to address customer needs and promote brand awareness and preference, including making technical presentations.
  • Gain an understanding of market segment trends to develop sales tools and account plans to set and achieve sales targets and goals.
  • Conduct customer need assessments to fully understand best-fit material and equipment solutions for short- and long-term growth.
  • Develop and maintain relationships with key decision makers from the field level to project executives.
  • Maintain a regular field project presence within all assigned customer regions. Value based selling through technical understanding is a core fundamental to business success and longevity.
  • Additional tasks as assigned to by Supervisor.
Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Business, or Technical related field and/or equivalent trenchless/underground construction industry experience.
  • 3-5 years’ experience in Drilling Fluid Engineering, Solids Control, and/or Trenchless/Underground construction industry experience preferred.
  • Ability to work independently and with minimal supervision.
  • Sales, Business Development, Operational Management experience preferred
  • Proven ability to drive the sales process by negotiating/closing sustainable new business.

Work Location: Remote – Outside Sales
