Pump Application Sales Engineer

Overview

Your role As an Application Sales Engineer based at our Houston office on Greens Road, you will play a key role in providing fluid solutions to our customers. Reporting directly to the Applications Engineering Manager, your core mission is to utilize your technical expertise and consultative skills to provide technically sound and customized fluid solutions that meet or exceed our customers' performance expectations.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand technical requirements, prepare competitive proposals, and support the sales process from conception through to delivery.
• Conduct thorough analysis of customer requirements, ensuring a deep understanding of application conditions.
• Develop detailed technical and commercial proposals tailored to customer-specific challenges.
• Maintain meticulous project documentation for quotation standards to ensure consistency and compliance.
• Act as a key technical advisor to the sales team, providing guidance and support in revising proposals and addressing technical queries.
• Resolve engineering challenges related to product specifications, conformity to standards, warranty considerations, and materials selection.

You will be instrumental in driving our mission to deliver first in mind, first in choice fluid solutions tailored for diverse industrial applications.

To succeed, you will need to

• Have a minimum of two years of hands-on experience within a manufacturing or industrial engineering environment.
• A bachelor's degree in mechanical, chemical, or industrial engineering, or a related discipline is essential.
• Demonstrate strong analytical skills and the ability to troubleshoot and resolve technical issues effectively.
• Familiarity with CRM platforms and proficiency in Adobe Professional will be advantageous.

Job location:

This position is based in Houston, Texas, with a flexible hybrid working arrangement. You will have the opportunity to work remotely for two days per week while spending the remaining time engaged in face-to-face collaboration at our Greens Road office, fostering stronger team connections and customer interactions.
