I've worked with this Houston-based contractor for 4 years, who need a Senior Proposal Manager to take full ownership of large, technical bids. This client is a favourite; regional, quality-focussed & true family. This is a hands-on role for someone who can run proposals end-to-end without needing their hand held:
- Lead and produce detailed, technical proposals+ bid submissions
- Compile inputs from internal stakeholders and turn them into clean, client-ready documents
- Work independently and proactively
- Background from an engineering firm or design-build contractor is ideal
- Proven experience writing/ managing proposals for heavy civil & plant-side work
- Strong preference for exposure to the public utility market
- Experience handling large, complex bid packages with tight deadlines
- Heavy civil + water/wastewater strongly preferred
- Also open to strong proposal professionals from adjacent civil markets
