Job Title: Water & Wastewater Facilities Project Manager
Location: Houston, TX (Hybrid Flexibility Available)

OverviewI am currently partnering with a well-established civil engineering consulting firm to support the growth of their Water & Wastewater Facilities team in Texas. This is an opportunity for an experienced Project Manager to lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex municipal treatment and infrastructure projects across the region.
The role offers strong technical ownership, client exposure, and leadership responsibility, along with hybrid flexibility and long-term project stability driven by a healthy public sector backlog.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multidisciplinary teams in the planning, design, and delivery of municipal water and wastewater treatment and facilities projects
- Oversee preparation of technical reports, plans, and specifications for treatment plants, pump stations, lift stations, and related infrastructure
- Manage project budgets, schedules, and resource allocation
- Perform and review facility assessments, design calculations, and process or hydraulic modeling
- Support equipment selection and sizing for treatment and facilities systems
- Oversee development of construction documents and provide construction phase services
- Serve as the primary point of contact for clients and municipal stakeholders
- Mentor junior engineers and technical staff
- Support proposal development and project pursuits as needed
- Water and wastewater treatment plant expansions
- Process improvements and rehabilitation projects
- Pump stations and lift stations
- Public sector capital improvement programs
- Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering or related field
- Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) or ability to obtain licensure
- Strong background in municipal water and wastewater facilities design
- Experience managing project budgets, schedules, and client relationships
- Proven ability to lead teams and mentor junior staff
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
