- Perform global and local structural analysis for offshore floating structures.
- Develop and execute finite element models using FEMAP and NASTRAN.
- Evaluate structural strength, fatigue, and load cases for offshore floaters.
- Support structural design of hull, topsides interfaces, and primary steel.
- Prepare and check engineering calculations, reports, and technical documentation.
- Ensure compliance with class society rules (ABS, DNV, BV) and applicable offshore codes.
- Support engineering deliverables through FEED, detailed engineering, and execution phases.
- Interface with internal disciplines, EPC contractors, and third-party analysts as required.
- Participate in design reviews, HAZIDs, and technical workshops.
- Bachelor’s degree in Structural, Civil, Mechanical, or Naval Architecture Engineering.
- 5+ years of direct experience in offshore floater structural design and analysis.
- Proven hands‑on experience using FEMAP and NASTRAN.
- Experience working on offshore floating structures such as FPSOs, FSRUs, semi‑submersibles, or TLPs.
- Strong understanding of offshore structural design principles and load combinations.
- Familiarity with class society requirements and offshore design standards.
- Ability to work independently on analysis tasks with minimal supervision.
- Master’s degree in Structural or Naval Architecture Engineering.
- Experience with fatigue analysis and dynamic loading.
- Prior exposure to topsides integration and marine interfaces.
- Experience supporting class approvals and third‑party reviews.
