We have an exciting opportunity for a Structural Analyst to join the team.

• Work at the Axiom facilities and provide detailed weekly reports to JETS section management and NASA/ES2 customer
• Create Finite Element Analysis models using FEMAP or Simcenter and use NASTRAN for model solution
• Post process results and generate structural margins of safety based on NASA standards and hardware requirements
• Perform hand calculations to generate structural margins of safety when applicable
• Perfrom damage tolerance analysis using crack growth propagation software NASGRO
• Generate detailed Structural Analysis Reports

• Typically requires a bachelor’s degree in Engineering and a minimum of 2-5 years of experience in the field or in a related area.
• Knowledgeable using FEMAP or Simcenter and NASTRAN
• Have a good foundation for Mechanics of Materials to be able to perform hand calculations for structural margins of safety
• Knowledgeable of thecrack growth propagation softwareNASGRO
• Proficiency with Microsoft office tools

• Prior NASA flight hardware experience
