A Snapshot of your Day:

As a Project Manager for Aeroderivative Gas Turbines Systems, you will own Modernizations & Upgrades projects end-to-end, turning complex technical scope into safe, on-time, and profitable delivery. You will lead teams with PE@SE discipline, stay ruthless on cost, risk, and schedule, and keep EHS and compliance non-negotiable while driving continuous improvement.

How You’ll Make an Impact
  • Responsible for managing projects effectively to meet financial and commercial aspects for Mods & Ups projects using Project Excellence @ Siemens Energy (PE@SE) methodologies.
  • Ensure compliance to standards, rules and regulations. Set necessary measures to ensure zero harm policy in environment, health and safety, set up framework to regularly check compliance of in projects and with subcontractors.
  • Responsible for the project team: guide, support, motivate and develop team members to achieve project / organization goals.
  • Lead, motivate, and develop cross‑functional and multicultural teams to deliver complex technical solutions and achieve project goals.
  • Develop and guide project/program solution plans for complex projects/programs. Implement technical projects/programs.
  • Guide the project/program management role (definition of schedule, budget, risk, change, opportunity and resource allocation management) for complex projects or programs.
  • Drive continuous improvement and identify opportunities for project optimization or program expansion.
  • Monitor and report project performance (schedule, cost, quality, and cash) through forecasts, reviews, and milestone reporting.
  • Prepare commercial information for regular project reporting/project status discussions/landmark reviews (timeline, costs, quality, cash collection).
  • Support preparing budgets and forecast for projects (e.g. Order Entry, Revenue, Gross Margin).
  • Identify and financially assess opportunities and risks, defining suitable measures for reducing risks or realizing opportunities and taking precautions for remaining risks.
  • Maintain full project financial control, including cost allocation, forecasting, budgeting, order intake, revenue, margin, and cash collection.
  • Analyze information and provide reports and feedback to project team members and management.
  • Identify risks and issues early that affect margin and schedule. Resolve and advance issues, as required.
Experience You'll Bring
  • Must be located in or willing to relocate to Houston, TX
  • BS in Engineering, Mathematics, Physics, Business Management, or equivalent work experience
  • 2+ years of project management experience (more experience may qualify for higher-level roles)
  • Project Management certification required. IPMA Certification is a plus.
  • Manage small to medium-sized global projects and multi-disciplinary teams preferably in the oil & gas industry.
  • Experience with MS Office package, specially Outlook, Teams, Excel and PowerPoint. SAP is a plus.
  • Skilled in full lifecycle project management like scheduling, budgeting, risk, change, opportunity, and resource management.
  • Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication able to liaise effectively with global cross-functional teams, stakeholders, and customers.
