Quality Engineer

Job Summary

Leading electronics repair and supply chain management company in the NW Houston area is in search of a skilled Quality Engineer. We are seeking candidates that have a Bachelor's degree in Engineering and 1+ year of experience in an electronics manufacturing quality role (PCB/repair). Candidates must have confident knowledge of inspection and analysis tools and methods (preferably in a computerized environment).

Salary: $56,000 - $75,000 per year

• Assist in developing, implementing, and maintaining quality requirements for PCB and repair processes
• Collect, analyze, and interpret quality and process data to support continuous improvement initiatives
• Perform special testing, process capability studies, and measurement system / repeatability studies
• Support preparation and maintenance of inspection instructions and procedures for mechanical and cosmetic criteria
• Assist with New Product Introduction (NPI), including process readiness, quality planning, and training
• Partner with cross-functional teams to identify and implement product and process improvements
• Participate in continuous improvement activities (root cause analysis, corrective actions, preventive actions)
• Recommend process and/or design improvements (Failure analysis methods, Corrective action recommendations, Material and component analysis)
• Support compliance with ISO 9001 and other applicable quality system requirements
• Assist in meeting departmental goals and objectives as defined by the Quality Manager or Director
