Pay Range: $83,200 - $179,400
YOUR ROLEThe Senior Automation Implementation Engineer is responsible for the integration, deployment, commissioning, and optimization of automated fulfilment solutions in new Distribution Centers. This role involves hands‑on implementation, collaboration with cross‑functional teams, and technical problem solving to ensure automation projects are delivered on time, within budget, and meet client specifications.
WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO?Essential Education & Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
Experience
- Minimum of 7 years of experience in logistics and distribution, with at least 5 years working directly with automation systems (e.g., AS/RS, GTP, AMRs, Cobots).
- Proven experience in the deployment and commissioning of automated fulfilment solutions.
- Desirable:
Experience in third‑party logistics, omnichannel fulfilment, with focus on e‑commerce fulfilment solutions.
Specialist Knowledge & Skills
- In‑depth knowledge of automation systems, including hardware and software integration.
- Experience with WMS, WCS, WES, PLCs, and SCADA systems.
- Strong technical problem‑solving skills.
Interpersonal & Communication Skills
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively with technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
- Strong documentation and reporting skills.
