As the Process Engineer you will be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing water treatment processes. Your job will have a strong background in chemical or environmental engineering, with a focus on water treatment systems.
Key Responsibilities- Design and develop water treatment processes including filtration, ion exchange, chemical dosing, and membrane technologies
- Create detailed process flow diagrams (PFDs) and piping and instrumentation diagrams (P&IDs)
- Select appropriate technologies and equipment for specific water treatment applications
- Lead process engineering projects from conception through commissioning
- Develop project plans, timelines, and budgets
- Coordinate with clients, vendors, and internal teams to ensure project deliverables are met on time and within budget
- Stay updated with the latest advancements in water treatment technologies and integrate new techniques into existing processes
- Bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering, Environmental Engineering, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3-5 years of experience in process engineering within the water treatment industry
- Proficiency in process simulation software (e.g., Aspen Plus, HYSYS) and CAD software (e.g., AutoCAD, Solid Works)
- Strong understanding of water chemistry, fluid dynamics, and thermodynamics
- Experience with regulatory compliance and industry standards (e.g., EPA, OSHA, ISO)
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong project management and organizational skills
